My husband consistantly place dirty towels to clean in the dishwasher.

Even if you load the dishwasher, clean dirty towels on the top shelf (rack sometimes less). I think the machine would be more appropriate (you know, with a detergent, the material in the "flood" or purely "Courage"), but argues that this does not clean towels.

Please tell me it's not fair. No evidence to support the position that would be appreciated.
